Q: What should I do if I couldn’t start it up after successful installation?

If Octoparse is successfully installed for the first time, you will get the following message that “Windows is configuring Octoparse files, please wait” when starting up. But if later you got the following message that “A serious error occurred during installation” and at the same time your anti-virus software is also running, then the files needed to completely install Octoparse may be mistakenly deleted by your anti-virus software.
In this case, you need to close the anti-virus software and reinstall Octoparse. After that you could successfully start it up.
