概要

Public eBay product reviews capture how buyers describe quality, defects, and disappointment in their own words. This Data App turns the public review area of one listing on the US, Australia, Canada, or UK site into a consistent set of records covering review titles, body text, star ratings, purchase verification, reviewer names, listing details, and publish times.

The result is built for repeatable reputation analysis instead of scrolling review pages. Each review keeps its original wording and stays linked to the listing, product, and seller identifiers, so praise and complaints can be compared across sites, sellers, and collection runs with the same fields.

Data notes

The data covers publicly visible eBay product reviews for the supplied listing ID and site at collection time. Each normal record is identified by its Comment ID, which removes duplicates across collected pages. Deleted, restricted, seller-feedback-only, and non-public reviews are outside the coverage. Listings on sites other than US, AU, CA, and UK are not covered.

Rating, Verified purchase, Cross-site review, vote counts, and listing details are snapshots and may change after collection. Comment type, Reviewed on, and Raw data retain source codes and the original payload. Published at and Collected at preserve the source timestamps without inferring a timezone. Source item and No data retain the collection outcome when a listing has no public review result.

  • Split reviews by Rating, then read Review title and Review text to locate low-score issues.
  • Compare Verified purchase with Review text when judging how much weight to give a review.
  • Count Comment ID by Published at to see how the mix of feedback changed over time.
  • Read Review title alongside Rating to separate headline praise from detailed complaints.

Each run accepts one eBay listing ID with site (US, AU, CA, or UK) and an expected review count from 1 to 10000. Results are returned and billed in complete batches of 10, so the actual count may be rounded up. Only publicly visible eBay product reviews are covered.

失敗時の処理

  1. 1If no reviews are returned, verify the listing ID and site suffix, and confirm that the product reviews are publicly visible
  2. 2Retry later after rate limiting, temporary service unavailability, or a timeout
  3. 3When the submission outcome is unknown, avoid immediate repeated submissions that could create duplicate tasks
  4. 4If authentication fails, verify the API Key configured for the execution environment
  5. 5If the task context does not match or the task has expired, submit a new collection instead of retrying the same task
  6. 6A partial success returns the reviews that were completed; the actual count may still differ from the expected value after batch rounding
